I am not a big reality show fan. Actually I really do not like them much at all. Personally, I think they are the decline of television. ANYWAYS when EB told about Rockstar: Supernova and said that I needed to watch the girl from Houston. I shrugged it off with a "oh yeah cool" response. Well I finally got around to it because I was like oh well just another reality show deal big whoop!
BOY was I wrong!! This girl brought down the house in my opinion. Yes that is right I liked something on a reality show. Like I have said before, it is all about the music for me. She just went insane on stage and perform a very very good version of Nirvana's "Lithium"! So here Dilana representing Houston, Tx

Meh! She's alright I suppose...
I don't watch the show, so the reaction to her performance may be justified compared to the other contestants, but the minimal variation from the original was uninspiring, and the stage presence was confusing...but this of course is just my opinion!
She does has a good voice though (a bit of a Sass Jordan gravel quality).
You may be right. Her energy level was just insane and I really do like her voice. Like Dave said there was just something about her stare that was so captivating.
Plus to begin with I was never a big Nirvana fan (something I always get blasted for whenever I talk to someone about music) so hearing her perform this song was pretty cool. But then I like all the Foo Fighter stuff so go figure :)
I agree, BDS, that WAS amazing. I haven't watched the show but man, the judges seemed to really like her.
I think she is realllllly cool. I could totally see her winning. There's a couple guys that are pretty good and one other chick I like, but there is just something about Dilana......

Loved Nirvana; Like the girl's voice & the standing still part but the jumping around didn't really do it for me; really, really dislike Tommie Lee if only because he just seems to be trying to do ANYTHING for a buck (remember "Tommie Lee goes to College" from a couple seasons back? Prob'ly not, as you don't like reality tv--I saw it like twice and it was just---stupid.)
Shit I can't watch this at work, I'll have to revisit a little later when I can truly enjoy it :)
